What Does a QA Lab Assistant Do?
As a QA Lab Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the quality of products. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality checks for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will perform basic laboratory tests such as measuring pH, Brix (sugar level), salt percentage, and viscosity/density, depending on product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Perform laboratory tests and record results accurately.
- Carry out sampling on the production line.
- Verify packaging and label details, including batch numbers and expiry dates.
- Prepare and maintain QA records and reports.
- Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanliness monitoring.
- Assist with basic lab equipment care and routine checks.
