Your Key Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tender drawings, documents, and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
- Preparing quantity take-offs and project costing
- Liaising with subcontractors and vendors for quotations
- Evaluating tenders and supporting submission preparation
- Verifying variation works and assisting with claims submissions
- Reviewing subcontractor claims and monitoring payment progress
- Supporting Project Managers on work certification
- Monitoring material orders and balancing quantities during project execution
- Interpreting Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings for tender and project execution
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Electrical field
- Knowledge of M&E systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies
