Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (80%)

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
  • Maintain effective communication with doctors, healthcare teams, patients, and families.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on self-care and disease management strategies.
  • Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Document all care activities and patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing ethics adherence.
  • Utilize healthcare technology to enhance care delivery.

Secondary Responsibilities (20%)

  • Engage in research, clinical trials, or service quality improvement activities.
  • Stay informed about current nursing and healthcare practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess a Diploma or Degree in Nursing and be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). A minimum of 3–5 years of post-registration clinical experience is required.
