Prepare for Your Screening Call
To help you succeed in your screening call, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions. Please prepare your answers in advance:
- Why do you want to work in Singapore?
- Are you comfortable if, after passing the interview, HR assigns you to any institution or hospital under a leading healthcare group?
- Have you applied to any other hospitals in Singapore?
- Can you share a little about your family background? Does your family support your decision to work in Singapore?
- How long do you plan to work in Singapore?
- Are you comfortable if you are assigned to work in a ward setting?
Financial Preparation Before Starting Work
While we do not charge any agency fees, it is important to be financially prepared for some initial expenses before you receive your first salary. These include:
- Accommodation for approximately the first 2 weeks before your official start date (Hostel: SGD37 per day).
- Daily food and transportation expenses during this period.
- Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) application security deposit: approximately SGD110 (reimbursed after you start work).
- Flight ticket cost (reimbursed according to company policy after you commence employment).
Relocation Support
To assist with your transition, HR will usually provide SGD500 during your first week of employment as part of the relocation allowance. The remaining relocation allowance will be paid together with your subsequent salary, subject to the company’s prevailing policy. Additionally, hostel accommodation is provided free for the first year after you officially start work.
Important Information
Once you successfully pass the Video Screening Call, you will be shortlisted to attend the Physical Mass Interview in Kuala Lumpur. Please reserve and arrange leave for both 13 & 14 October, as your interview may be scheduled on either day. Your confirmed interview date and time will be finalized and communicated during the second week of September 2026.
