Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management
- Oversee company accounting, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Handle payment entries, approvals, and act as a maker.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare detailed reports.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements for the Director.
Payroll & Statutory Duties
- Manage and issue payroll efficiently.
- Handle statutory requirements such as PCB, EPF, and EIS.
Tax Matters
- Manage company tax obligations.
- Handle the Director’s personal income tax matters.
External Coordination
- Liaise with bankers regarding company account matters.
- Coordinate with the company secretary and auditor.
Reporting Line
- Report directly to the Director on company accounting matters.
- Handle private and confidential company matters with discretion.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting. Proficiency in basic English and Mandarin is essential, and familiarity with Million accounting and payroll software is considered an advantage.
