Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Executive, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility. Your duties will include:
- Performing preventive maintenance and repair work on production machinery, equipment, and factory facilities.
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility-related issues.
- Installing, commissioning, and modifying machinery and equipment as required.
- Monitoring machine performance and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and technical issues to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinating and supervising contractors, suppliers, and external service providers during maintenance and engineering projects.
- Maintaining maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Assisting in planning and implementing engineering improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting factory utility systems, including boilers, air compressors, pumps, and water treatment systems.
- Supporting the maintenance of filling, packing, labeling, and other production equipment.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions for equipment failures.
- Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and safe work practices within the Engineering Department.
- Performing any other duties assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be aged between 30–40 years and possess experience in factory maintenance, engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery independently. Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and continuous improvement initiatives is also required. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment are crucial.
