Job Details and Responsibilities
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing production machinery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for production machines, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
- Ensuring all machinery is adequately lubricated to maintain optimal performance.
- Repairing and reporting machine breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
- Overseeing technical aspects of production, including filling accuracy, bottle cleanliness, and equipment sanitation.
- Adhering to start-up and shut-down procedures for machinery.
- Managing spare parts inventory, ensuring sufficient supply and organized storage.
- Maintaining adequate supplies of consumables such as caustic soda and lubricants.
- Ensuring the facility is well-maintained and reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment.
Working Hours and Compensation
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from RM2,150 to RM2,650, with additional performance incentives and overtime opportunities. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:40 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:40 pm.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin.
- Aged below 55 years.
- A certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
