From Singapore Hospital to Penang Office
After spending over a decade working as a radiographer in Singapore’s most prestigious hospitals, Kai Sheng noticed a recurring frustration shared by Malaysian healthcare colleagues: the path from Malaysia to a Singapore healthcare role was unclear, expensive, and full of dead ends.
Agency fees were high. Guidance was inconsistent. Credentialing requirements were confusing. Too many talented Malaysian nurses, pharmacists, and radiographers were either giving up or getting exploited.
In July 2023, Kai Sheng founded Agensi Pekerjaan Talent Focus Sdn Bhd — a JTKSM-licensed agency with a single mission: to make quality jobs in Singapore accessible to every qualified Malaysian, completely free of charge to the candidate.
Within the first year, Talent Focus conducted mass interview drives in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, and Sabah — placing over 270 healthcare professionals in Singapore hospitals and clinics.
