Unlisted Internal Extension – Policy Compliance Statement

Purpose

This extension is distributed as unlisted and is intended solely for use by internal staff of Agensi Pekerjaan Talentfocus. It provides WhatsApp template management, WordPress-based template sync, and AI reply suggestion features to assist with HR and customer service communications.

Permissions Usage

Minimal Permissions Only:
The extension requests only permissions essential to its operation:
- activeTab: To interact with the WhatsApp Web interface.
- storage: To save templates and user preferences locally.
- https://talentfocus.com.my/*: To sync templates with the internal WordPress system.
No Use of tabs or scripting:
The extension does not request tabs or scripting permissions unless these are strictly required for its features. If not in use, these will be removed from the manifest.

Data Handling and Privacy

Template Data:
Only WhatsApp message templates and related preferences are stored, either locally or synced with the company’s secure WordPress backend via HTTPS.
AI Suggestions:
AI reply suggestions are processed via secure API requests (e.g., to OpenAI) as initiated by the user. No data is shared with third parties except for this direct AI processing.
No Personal Data:
The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive data unrelated to template functionality.

User Control

Internal Use:
Only authorized staff with access to the extension and the company WordPress system may use the features.
Data Management:
Users can delete or manage templates at any time.

Policy Adherence

The extension does not request broad or unused permissions and only operates with the minimum access necessary for internal functionality.
The extension does not attempt to “future proof” by requesting permissions for features that are not currently implemented.
