The MYFutureJobs Auto-Invite Chrome Extension (“the Extension”) is designed to help automate the invite-to-apply process on the employers.myfuturejobs.gov.my website by filtering candidates based on their displayed names. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.

2. Data Collection

Personal Data:
The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive user data.
Browsing Data:
The Extension only interacts with the employers.myfuturejobs.gov.my website and processes information shown on that page locally in your browser.
API Usage:
If an OpenAI API key is configured, candidate names (as displayed on the page) may be sent to the OpenAI service solely to determine likely ethnicity for automation. This data is not stored by the extension or its developers.

3. Data Usage

All processing is performed locally in your browser.
The Extension does not track your browsing activity or behavior.
No data is shared with third parties, except for candidate names sent to the OpenAI API (if configured by you), and only for the purpose of providing extension functionality.

4. Data Storage

The Extension may use Chrome’s storage permission to save user preferences (such as last used settings) locally.
No candidate data or user credentials are stored by the extension.

5. Data Sharing

No personal or browsing data is sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party by the Extension developer.
The only exception is candidate names sent to the OpenAI API, which are required for the core function of the Extension.

6. Security

All processing is local and only candidate names are sent to the OpenAI API for name analysis.
Your OpenAI API key is stored locally and is not shared with the Extension developer.

7. User Control

You can remove the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your Chrome browser.
You may clear or manage any locally stored data using Chrome’s extension settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here and are effective upon posting.
